Here you will find my personal (handdrawn) icons, free for you to
download and use, by shift-clicking on the icon of your preference or downloading
the desktop icon archive (file download below). They are all newicons,
256 colours each, with individual palettes. In other words, they need
a lot of pens to look good, and a graphics card is recommended, but not neccessary.
The icons are also in disk format (I use them on my partitions), so you
cannot display them on a normal Workbench without copying them over your
present "disk.info" at the root of each partition. Once again, I advise
you to use Opus Magellan; it will show all icons, and it's also great
for copying icons back and forth.
If you should use one or more of my icons, I'd be happy. As a slight payback,
you could send me a screengrab of your desktop, as I am a collector. :)
(08.12.98)
Added two new icons, the sound icon (the skin-colored thing ;))
and the planet icon.
(30.06.99)
Made a
javascript version
, using "OnMouseOver", to show
how the icons look when selected.
I also added several new icons,
which have only previously been seen on my (and Fishy's¡) screengrabs,
either totally gray or anemically coloured. I have now brought these
icons to life, by giving them a second frame and adjusting the colour
to fit the other icons. They are a bit different in style, because they
were drawn on paper and then scanned, whilst the first icons were drawn
digitally.
